I realize that art isn't a tangible object, it is the idea and the passion that created it. But to me true art is something that moves and inspires the viewer.
Each person reacts differently to different art forms. I personally prefer the more classical traditional pieces. Pop-art just doesn't mean anything to me. So it's not that I don't get it, because I do.

Don't think about a guy eating lunch, think about the idea of filming a guy eating lunch. That's what pop-art is, not so much the material creation itself, but the idea behind it. Makes you think... what in gods name possessed him to do that? Hope that helps... but no one really knows, and that's what's so fascinating about it. Warhol was a genius, I don't know how you could consider his art pointless...
