FFVII(7) for me was the best of the series, closely followed by FFVI(6), then 12, 9, 8, & finally 10. X-2 is crap, i wouldnt really consider it a FF game either.

Its a great series liam, well worth it if you play then all.

8 was ok, the story was kinda weird even for ff standards but i neva finished it because my 3rd disk stuffed up and i was 2 poor to get a new one.

and i hated ff9 bad story and even worse characters.
oh and I played ff 1, 2 and 4 but I got board real quick and gave up.

but I cant wait for final fantasy 13 and verses 13

yer it is a three part story called the Fabula Nova Crystallis where 2 parts are on the ps3 (Final Fantasy XIII and Final Fantasy Versus XIII) and the other is a moblie game Final Fantasy Agito XIII. im not sure how much of the stroy will be linked tho. its linked to come kind of crystals.

I heard that FFX-2 was directed towards female gamers rather than male gamers because of the dress spheres and garment grids. It wasn't as good as other FF games, but I did like the different clothes. lol I have to admit that I can be really girlly sometimes. ^_^
