Well our users are actually protected on the PSN itself... and you can always reject requests from geeboons to add as a friend!

One stipulation I will make, when you are sending away a request to add a friend (on the PSN) in your message list your MyPS3 Nickname...

ie. Request to Add a Friend... In message text MyPS3: Shadowblade

I was wondering too, whats the precedent for adding people from MyPS3 to the friends list, is it ok to just add everyone on the list & just wait & see who accepts or should I be sending private messages to members I wish to add first OR should I just add people who are in my "mates" section of MyPS3.
