Social \ 720p vs 1080p. Any Differences?

What series is your Bravia? D, V, W, X, XBR?

D & V are native 720P
W, X, & XBR are native 1080P

It should auto scale to most appropiate and look S**t hot either way.

ive figured out one disadvantage with the projector though - you have to move your head around the screen to look at different parts like health, other side of the field or whatever. on a normal tv (even a 60 in plasma) its all in your direct line of sight.

It is vely vely sessy!!!! But 720p is THE resolution, because most games use that reso! No you dont NEED it, you NEED a Projector though!!!! Did that make any sense? Or do i have to use "im drunk" excuse?

In that case I'm getting a 2.5" LCD from eBay and playing my PS3 at 0.01 feet...*drools at the quality*

projectors have the best picture by far but very short lamp life about 2,000 hours, expensive to replace and need a dark room. average screen size is about 120" which will kill any 42" plasma or lcd....

im around 4m back with a 100" screen... so its about right in the THX guideline thing. I cant wait to upgrade, gonna wait a year till the whole 1080p projector craze wears off and more DLPs get released. My sound systems next, waiting patiently for my Marantz SR8002

LOL the only people who knock projectors are those who havent experienced them - and not some mates big brothers data projector! And also those that knock 720p projectors really need to see a properly calibrated one on a quality screen in action.
