Yes i got mine from Play-Asia. The packaging is in Japanese, of course, but it works on my 60GB AUS console, no problems.

Well, since Sony have decided to not produce the SuxAxis anymore, it comes as no surprise. It was a dodgy last-minute nintendo ripoff (again) anyway and there was no way a simple tilt feature was going to be anymore than a dodgy gimmick which pales in comparison to the motion sensitivity of the Wiimote. I'm not bagging the Ps3, i'm going to get one this year, but Sony really should have stuck with a standard controller, maybe then Lair wouldn't have sucked so bad. Either way i'm not at all going to miss the SuxAxis and i am glad Sony has woken up and ditched that poor effort. Nothing wrong with the Ps3 controller design, no reason to mess with it. If it aint broke, dont fix it.

UBER EDIT: A quick re-read of the article reveales they are keeping the tilt controls (wot the?). I would have thought it would be better for Sony to ditch it all together and save costs. Nvm. WAKE UP SONY!

You do realize that the dual shock 3 still has the tilt functionality. It just also has rumble.

Foetoid, the SIXAXIS controls are good when used properly... So don't go nuts just because PS3 owners get to experience motion sensing as well.
Hehe, I reserve the SIXAXIS for when I play FIFA 08.
I treat the controller very harshly when playing FIFA 08 on my PS3 ...

Not wrong... what I really don't get is that these companies MUST know consumers are going to buy cheaper from overseas, therefore eroding their local profits.
Either they're accountants are idiots, or just really out of touch. Make the price $59.95, and watch their sales go through the roof. Same with games, once upon a time, the exchange rate was that for off the US, that our $100 games would have been about right, but with the exchange rate as low as it is now, the pricing is still not being adjusted. Again, bring those games down to $69.95 to $79.95 and see sales go up, and even piracy go down.
Mind you, the same can be said for many businesses... they see a higher amount on a product as more profit, when in fact people often go elsewhere. Not quite on the same scale, but I sell coca cola cheaper than anywhere else in town, and we get people coming out of their way to buy it at our shop. They'll buy food from the takeaway and then come and get the drinks from me!

what, so there is a sony playstation rumble six axis controller in the sony pulse magazine, so if I go to the shop right now I could get a rumble controller for my ps3!!!!
