Not sure if any of you are aware but the US Singstore is up and running. There are less tracks available at the moment. But if you have a US PS Store account you can download tracks there for US $1.49 each. I just got Eye Of The Tiger and it works fine with my PAL copy of Singstar.

Buying from the US Singstore ...
It would include American state tax and (for me anyway) the Entropay load fee. I'm wondering if it is still worth it.
However, it's good that it's compatible with our PAL Singstar. Good find nightphant!

No Tax on purchases. Even with Load fee it works out better. I have just pruchased 6 songs and saved over $6 on the purchase. That is more than the cost of my Entropay Load fee

No tax on purchases? How can you possibly avoid the American state taxes when we're impersonating as American citizens when signing up an American PSN account?
Or did you figure out a way?

There must be some minimal amount before tax. I also have not been charged Tax on Rockband downloads for $5.49
Below is a copy of an invoice total for 3 Singstar songs purchased.

Just go online, puchase a single song and you will see what I mean. Even with Entropay load fee you will save money if you purchase a few songs. I generally load to Entropay, US $50 (equates to about AUD $60 after load fee) at any given time so for that I could get around 33 songs rather than 24 songs via the Aus Singstore for that same $60 amount

Yeah its odd. I got Oasis Pack, no Tax. I got the Classic Rock pack and paid tax.
Anyway, maybe with Singstar, keep pruchases to 1 to 3 songs at a time and we might avoid the taxes.

Just create a second user account on your PS3.
Then register a new PSN account on the new user account, but using an American address instead. Make sure your address is legit, i.e. matching ZIP code to the city etc.

Hmmm I used 90210 (Beverly Hills) as my post code and to my knowledge I've never been charged tax on buying stuff such as Pain and High Velocity Bowling plus characters add-ons etc off the US PSN...
