I dunno about anyone else here but im so hyped over this. It looks so cool. I guess the only thing im a little annoyed over is the roster line-up. So far its good, but to be honest 10 MK and 10 DC characters just isnt enough for me. I was hoping for more. Especially considering MK: Armageddon on the PS2 had something like 56 characters.. even an additional 5-10 on both sides to bring the roster up to 30-40 would have been great. Oh well... here's the current linup anyway:

Mortal Kombat

- Sub-Zero
- Shang Tsung
- Sonya
- Lui Kang
- Kitana
- Jax

DC:
- Superman
- Batman
- Catwoman
- The Joker
- Captain Marvel
- Green Lantern
- The Flash

I reckon there's gotta be at least Raiden, Johnny Cage and Kano in the MK lineup.. and at least Wonder Woman for DC. Any thoughts?

There are soooo many moves that...there's actually tooo many!
About 100 per player? or was it more? Who, seriously are going to be able to remember them.
Also, in practive mode, checking the moves...every move has no flare.
left left up right.......6 buttons later....and it almost looks like a standard punch.

They took fatalities out, since it wasn't a good image for Batman to be ripping peoples heads off etc. But they put brutalities in.

For example theres one where superman pounds you literally, into the ground.

P.S. I reckon the cast of characters is somewhat disapointing.

Nope... if you play as say Sub-Zero for instance you can pull of a fatality on Batman - rip his head off any everything - but if its the other way round then you'll do a Brutality - which looks awesome anyway. The only exception here is the DC villians - they CAN kill people.. and as I said you are able to pull of fatalities on the superheroes - they're just not allowed to do it to you.

I remember when the first MK1 hit the arcades, caused abit of controversy to the amount of gore and fatalities in the game. To me thats what I loved about MK. I've now completely lost faith in the MK franchise.

What success? MK 1, 2, 3 were successful. Take for instance games with low sale figures like Beyond Good & Evil and Psychonauts not many people bought them, but yet sequels are in development. Shows the developer has faith, which Midway clearly don't hence why they include a bunch of characters which don't belong in the MK lineup.

And the point of a cross-over is to give people something different... i personally love the idea of a fighting-game crossover, and nothing could please me more than seeing MK take on either DC or Marvel. But thats cool; you're entitled to your opinion, i just think its a bit harsh thats all... even if it doesnt sound like the coolest idea, give it a shot.
