Disney Interactive Studios today announced the official release date for their upcoming off-road racer, Pure. The highly anticipated title is set to hit XBOX 360, Playstation 3 and PC on October 9th, 2008. Pure will be rated G.

Matt Kelly went hands-on with the title last month.

The way all the racing works in Pure, it is a really casual friendly gaming experience with a lot of room for the core players to go harder at it.
