News \ Burnout Paradise is coming!
SYDNEY, Australia – May 1, 2007 – Electronic Arts today announced the title for the revolutionary new Burnout™ videogame currently in development for the PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system and Xbox 360™ videogame system. Players will be able to take their dangerous driving experience to a whole new level when Burnout™ Paradise is unleashed this summer.
Burnout Paradise proves that crashing is awesome! Next generation technology has enabled an unprecedented level of crash deformation allowing you to experience the most explosive pile-ups in the series' history. Now the development team can realise their original vision for the Burnout franchise: an open world environment where you can do anything, anywhere, anytime!

Feel the adrenaline course through your veins as you take to the road for the first time in Paradise City, where the action is all around you. Explore the city, discover events, and look for the best opportunities to crash, jump and pull signature takedowns. In Burnout Paradise you're given the keys to the city, but it's up to you to earn the keys to the meanest and most dangerous cars on the street, and earn your Burnout licence.

You crash into a bunch of cars at high speed and get points......and thats it....
It goes into slow mo....flashiness....and thats it...

True true (about the racing). I loved Burnout1 and 2 especialy 2 for all the chain boosting! which they brought back recently in Burnout Dominater for PS2(also playable on PS3)and PSP. All the crashing though is what has made the game what it is today. Burnout ROCKS! Burnout Paradise! It could be Paradise!

Now this is something i've been waiting for... Burnout 2 was the only reason i brought my PS2 several years back. After completing Burnout 2, i got the original burnout and then 3 & 4... My gf and i love this series..
