It's what PlayStation 3 owners have been crying for since the console's launch, and Sony has finally responded. Shiki-tei, a gardening game, will be available on the Japanese PlayStation network come June 26th, so says Siliconera.

Shiki-tei - meaning four seasons garden - will allow players to have a dig around in their own backyard, arranging plants and stones to create the perfect garden. Then you can watch it on the screen while cranking tunes from your media library. Oh, and you can take some snapshots and send them around the internet to show off your creation.

Not one for your average player, then. We can't imagine this will ever make it to PAL territories, so if you want to get your garden on, you might have to fake a Japanese account and foot the 1,600 yen bill.

I like the sound of creating your own garden, I know alot of people will pass on this game but to me, the idea sounds great. It really depends on how they pull it off. If they put alot of effort into it and make it like a 'sim city game' with lots of depth and variation then it will be winner in my opinion. I'm glad I'm getting a ps3 in the next few weeks, looks like it's going to have some great variation in games. I'll pick it up for sure - if at all possible.
