News \ Guitar Hero: Metallica due by Q1 '09
So far this year Activision has announced 3 Guitar Hero Games, Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, Guitar Hero IV and Guitar Hero: On Tour for DS and these are all scheduled to come out this year.
Activision has now decided to go head and announce that another Guitar Hero game is on its way and this one is also based on a band meaning that this game has received the title of Guitar Hero: Metallica.
Guitar Hero: Aerosmith Won't Be the Only Guitar Hero Game Based on a Band Anymore
Metallica is a legendary San Francisco Bay Area Heavy Metal Band and they are a multiplatinum-selling band.
"In fiscal 2009, we plan to publish Guitar Hero: On Tour for the NDS; Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, Guitar Hero: Metallica, and Guitar Hero IV across multiple platforms," the Activision has said in its report. March 31st just happens to be when the fiscal 2009 ends meaning that the game will be released before then.
Guitar Hero: Metallica will be the first time a game is based on the multiplatinum-selling band.
