You play as Altair, a rouge assassin in medieval Jerusalem. The year is 1191 AD, and the Holy Land is being torn asunder by the Third Crusade. The order of Assassins attempts to keep Jerusalem from falling into either side of the conflict's hands. By suppressing both sides, the Assassins attempt to keep a neutral "peace" in Jerusalem, always making sure one side never becomes stronger than the other.

You control 1 person. This game is supposed to be revolutionary in terms of how you approach missions etc. The AI of every NPC is supposed to be like nothing we have seen before. Hope it stands up to the hype.

There are some glitches, freezing between load times, but when you purchase the game you get an extra disc with it that fixes the errors, just to be sure, Ubisoft released another patch that has now completely wiped out all bugs, mine works fine now. That extra disc should do it for now though.

I hired it on tuesday, finished it an hour ago..
The game is spectacular!!
Shame the rental didn't have the extra disc, crashed a good few times, which really pissed me off, but hey, the game itself made up for it.
Looking forward to AC 2 now!!!

This is one of the most overrated games currently out. Not as much as Halo 3, but defiantely up there with the best of em. I played all ther way through and apart from the graphics and fluid animations; it has nothing else going for it. One of the stupidest endings EVER as well... 6.5/10 from me, it was okay.

I got this today from Big W for $50. I've heard mixed reviews about it. Don't know when I'll get a chance to play it.
Anyway, I went to EB afterwards and laughed when I saw they had a copy for $78. lol It was probably second hand too (didn't take much notice of it besides the price).
