Okay so like.... can we pretend its only two weeks later.... maybe three... since the the last community update? Please? It's been really busy, I swear! But we're here now! And we bring awesome news!
New Site - www.MyBuzz.com.au :O :O :O
We've launched another new site, www.MyBuzz.com.au, this time focusing specifically on the iPhone, just recently out in Australia. Why the iPhone? Why not MyNokia... or MyMobile for that matter? 'Cause the iPhone is awesome basically! We're all pretty big Apple fanboys at MyMedia so this was going to happen one time or another anyway, this week seemed good. You'll find all the normal stuff like forums, videos and galleries, but we've also set up an iPhone App section where you can browse the existing Apps, get opinions, info, screenshots and more! And even better, you can already win cold hard iTunes Store credit for your opinion!
(I don't actually have an iPhone yet, I paid for it and have an over the top Optus contract and now spend my day annoying the shops staff by calling them every five minutes about it)

So it's pretty simple, to kick start MyBuzz we've thrown up $20 bucks of iTunes store credit for you guys to write a iPhone App review, simply scribble something up and submit! I think all the game sites must be quietly recovering from the E3 shenanigans of last week but there's still a bit going on. For one you can currently win the severed head of ankle breaking, puppy loving Cammie Dunaway from Nintendo! The site's also recieved a few updates in the past couple of weeks, you can now customize your profile (there's more of that coming as well, it's pretty cool!), and also we're trying out a new system with the news to get more stuff circulating through the front page. Depending on how these go you may find them on other sites soon!

Big news though is MyDS now has a ranking badge system for members!
In a nut shell, you can score a rank badge based on how long you've been hanging around MyDS and your kudos level. Does it mean you have ultimate power over other members? No. Does it mean you can get into swish night clubs? Nup. Does it mean you can silently feel cooler than everyone else? Probably. If you want one (or simply want to see how far you missed the requirements by and chew yourself up all weekend about it) head over to MyDS and have a lookie at the badge thread!

If you haven't clicked the link yet there's something wrong with you, IT'S METAL SLUG! Okay okay, maybe you want to know what's involved and is it a worth while investment of your limited mouse clicks. Pop over and write about your favorite side scrolling game (any franchise, though seriously, if it's not Metal Slug...) and upload a screeny of the game. Jump over and start writing, though really, it should be Metal Slug you're writing about, you know it, I know it, Metal Slug is teh bomb!

The TV database has become seriously sizable since last community update. You can now find not only series pages, but season and episode guides. There's now a semi-wiki feature where you anyone can update show content, so if you're a die hard fan of say something really lame like... oh... Friends, for example, you can go in there, add all the episodes and try it make it look like the 30 second Simpsions Japanese parody of the show wasn't better the sum total of all the acting, writing and production of the series.... that's right, I said it...
But moving on...
