News \ Fatal Stabbing Spoils Metal Gear Solid 4 Launch Parties In Japan

After the horrific killing spree that took place in Akihabara district of Tokyo on the 8th of June. blog.wired.com/ which left 7 dead and 10 injured. Konami Japan has decided to cancel the Tokyo launch events for Metal Gear Solid 4.

Konami has stated that "Because of the number of people expected to gather at these locations, we are taking safety into account". Konami haven’t ruled out re-scheduling the events for latter on during the month.

They only canceld the partys they where going to hold at some of the major retailer in tokyo. The game it self went on sale on june 12th
