PS3 News \ Metal Gear Online Gene Expansion Pack
Metal Gear Online will be receiving its first expansion pack which is called the Gene Expansion. This expansion pack includes:
- Two new playable characters which are Johnny and Meryl
- Three new maps which are called, "City of Sorrow, "Underground Waterway" and "South American Power Station"
- A new game mode called Survival
- A new refreshed Reward System, which allows you to earns Reward Points to spend at the Reward Shop. Here you will be able to exchange the points for a wide rang of gear available
You will also be able to have more characters slots by purchasing an additional Gene Expansion Plus pack.
Though at this time there is no official price or dates announced. Hopefully it will come as soon as possible.

Cool! Been having a break from MGO to play BF:BC. Maybe then its a good reason to play again. Does anyone know if the MYPS3 clan has started yet?

its around 1500-1700 yen so its like $15-$17 and you also get a free character slot so now you can have two characters 
and apparently the new survival game is the only way so far to get points for the shop and i think you can also buy some special weapons ect...
