Game Informer has today announced an upcoming Batman game titled 'Batman: Arkham Ayslum' coming from Eido and Rocksteady Studios.

This title will be an original game set within Gotham's own little dark hell the Arkham Asylum.

Details of the game are that when a routine transfer goes wrong the Joker takes advantage, sets his plan in motion and before Batman knows it he is facing off against an army of his enemies he has overcome in the past years.

The game is said to be in a similar style to that of Bioshock and the story is co-written by Paul Dini.

It's not yet known if this will be the Official Dark Knight game said to be released along side Dark Knight on DVD.

No Console Confirmed.
