Kojima Productions have just released this new feature for the new Metal Gear Solid. The picture is of the development team in a six on six match. The battle took place on a large weathered camp so there was lots of places to hide and wait for the enemy. This feature is just what you'd expect of MGS Online as it is another branch on the Metal Gear Solid Family Tree. This only early work in progress.

MGS4 Online info...

To complement the release of Metal Gear Solid 4, Konami will also release a PS3 edition of Metal Gear Online. Featuring characters, stages and the familiar control scheme of the single player game, this reloaded MGOnline experience packs in additional environments, game modes and team-based multiplayer.

The way Konami’s blurb reads almost makes it seem like this will be a separate game, rather than an option in MGS 4’s main menu. Perhaps the game will be available on Playstation Store.

The game’s closed Beta has already started, on the day it was announced! An open beta for 3000 participants is scheduled for later this year, but at the moment, is for Japanese players only.
