There's something to be said about Sony's Minna no Golf 5. On the PS3, every character starts looking and feeling like those exquisitely made wooden dolls that seem so lifelike. It's creepy for a golf game, but it makes for a cool effect when you play.
More importantly, you get to pull off things like Power Shots and watch the flow of time change as you play (pretty sky effects!). Even better: your skill is rewarded by cute characters being happy, and nothing says good times better than cute characters being happy.

this game looks ok but the way all these games are made are nothing like doing it on a wii because u actually have to swing with a wii remote normally i would not say this but cartoon golf games should stay with the wii they are more fun and more realistic

played it online tonight for the first time and this game rocks online...we had 49 players in one tournament alone
the graphics in this game are something to behold...the nice little touches on the africa course where animals and rally cars shott across the course is a laugh

Had this game for a few weeks anow and love it...like I said before the in game ball physics of what you can do in this game is way better than TW games.....the shot shaping is perfect..drawing and fading the ball is easy but challenging

im going to get this one i loved the first one that was the only one i played believe it or not the most fun i ever had out of a gold game was Swing Away Golf on ps2 i loved it.

I enjoyed these games more than TW games....
The actual physics of what the golf ball does in real life in these games is closer than Tiger woods games (and yes I play of 10 in real golf)
plus they are fun...not every sports game needs to be all out sim...the demos graphics look great
