But anyway I was going through the Setup for the router *this is for my Ps3 BTW* and it just fails i don't know y but it just does i don't know what to call it but I think it said something about not being able to finish the setup because a cable is not in properly or something like that. Also all i wanted to do was have it for my ps3 and its telling me to take out my usb cable for my modem and put in a Ethernet cable so i do and it come up with the same thing there is a cable missing/not inserted can some one help me?

P.S The Netgear router i go it is a : NET GEAR 54 MBPS WIRELESS ROUTER

Oh, and it's multiple routers for one reason only... They exploded. Damn shoddy power. Now I have my precious UPS though.

Yeah a really good idea to get your ps3 working wirelessly is to enable mac filtering and as liam said input your ps3's mac address (which is visible in network settings). Also you really dont want to bother connecting your router to your pc via usb as it is slower and uses up more system resources, if you can connect your pc to the router via ethernet port you'll be alot better off .

Lol yeah i agree with hammy security is one of the major issues with wireless, quite possibly the best security setting is WPASPK with TKIP i think it is haha long time ago since i had to setup a wireless router..
