A first for the franchise, Gran Turismo 5: Prologue supports online racing with up to 16 drivers racing simultaneously on a beautifully rendered race track. A new in-car view provides a unique perspective for racers and features a customised dashboard for each of the cars in Gran Turismo 5: Prologue. All-new and improved opponent A.I. for a nail-biting and more strategic race racing experience. Adjust the A.I. difficulty to suit you. Access to Gran Turismo TV - a clearinghouse of great motoring TV (video) programming (both HD and SD - all broadcast quality) online through PlayStation Network. My Garage is a personalised homepage feature with a friends list, chat functionality and personal game records to expand the interaction between car enthusiasts in the world of GT. Quick Tune facility allows you to adjust power, tires, suspension and more. Gran Turismo 5: Prologue runs in stunning High Definition at 1080p (race: 1080p-60fps, replay: 1080p-30fps). Photo Mode gives players the opportunity to photograph their car during the race where they can take advantage of zoom, depth of field and motion blur. omg lol i just saw videos of this game lol im a bit late but still the graphics were awesome they looked so real!! the shadowing wen driving from inside the car, the car models, the people, the animations, they were all sooooo good!! too bad theres no damaging for cars in this tho...

Does it have damage detection or body parts getting damaged...if it doesnt well then Im not really that excited by it all


yes it looks great but to me they call it the ultimate driving simulator...yes you can just crash n bash your way around the course with no consquences...to me thats not simulation....

their exscuse has been the car companies didnt want to see their beautys damagaed...thats baloney how did Cloin Mcrae get away with it and codemasters games also? That arguement is very flawed!

actually the damaged thing is an intriguing discussion. PD actually do have a good point though because you dont see 700 cars in Colin Mcrae Dirt and not each of these manufacturers will want their cars damaged so by having damaged and non damaged cars on a race track at the same time will definately look odd. with that said i do hope damage is in the final release of GT5

My issue has been that I find it dead easy to win every race in the game...simply smash everyone off the road

That isnt simulation.....if there is no penalty for doing that then thats what you'll do

If you run into someone and theres no damage the game loses appeal in my view...its a bit like playing shotting game where there no visisble damage when youre shot...imagain playing MGS solid and theres no body damage...it would be rather pointless...imagine baskeball game with no fouls..just knock everyone over and score (it would be NBA street which isnyt simulation is it?)

I found every race in GT4 to be the same...just bash your opponent off the track and cut all of the corners and only break when its completely necessary. To me gamers want more of a challenge than that surely they do

That said i still like the game but the pressing concern it will just be a sexier GT4

to me thats not what next gen is about...we want challenges in our games and we want realism...eye candy isnt everything

well its really based on honesty. would you feel right in winning a matching by killing your opponents or would you rather lose and try to do better the next time around. anyway for online games i think their is a black flag for deliberately hitting another player so that solves one problem now you just need to do the damamge one

good point, it's no fun knowing that you've won a race by cutting corners and smashing into cars to brake and ram'em off the road, the challenge is to win by playing by the rules as if you were racing for real. Great game!!! can't wait!

i will give you $20 if you can have the PAL version for 2 hours and unlock the formula one car and buy it as well as having all other cars and getting gold in all the events. btw its 6 tracks and 70 cars

I haven't played GT5P online much and wanted to know if you can play against friends, as in inviting or setting yourself up as a host.

Or are you stuck with where the GT%P servers place you?

I am only writing this because i couldn't see an option to play against specific people.

It all depends if you use a hand controller or a wheel. And if you are using the wheel then you should change the steering dynmics to simulation and the simulation mode to Professional. Anything below that is compromising the game's intention and your ability to drive...

Like to see how anyone could get enough dough to get the Ferrari F2007 in 2 days - that's $2,000,000!!!
