HL2... I think that will be an awesome game. I had HL2 on xbox1 and it was sweet. Might just have to make a purchase

i think its better that it doesnt get as much hyp or else it might become another lair or heavenly sword, people hype it so much that when it finally comes they are dissapointed tis a shame

Yeah that is very true. Way better to be a quiet hit, that ppl know about but dont expect the world, then gets good reviews and is real popular.

If you guys are talking about Uncharted then you are very right I reckon this game could very well be a sleeper hit Whoa so Stranglehold has been delayed until October now, not coming out on September 20th?

Some games deserve the hype, cause the developers involvement take their game making seriously! With all the success of HL2 it generates sales

A great game will always receive hype yet still remain a great game when its released. HL2, metal gear series, etc are an example of this.
Other games are "made" to be great, and receive hype that isnt deserved and in the end the game is revealed for what it is.
Half live 2 has plenty of hype but only in the PC gaming space. I just cant stress enough how good that game is trust me guys get the orange box you will enjoy the hell out of it.

yeh i agree about HL2 being great but it reeeeally hasnt got much hype, i havnt really heard that much about it, and u cant compare heavenly sword to HL2 they are from 2 totally different genres

That is true. I didnt even know HL2 was coming out on PS3 till I read it in here.
Anyways....
THQ has brought the release dates of Conan and Company of Heroes: Opposing Fronts forward to 28th September. Conan is the gory and adult-themed hackandslasher for 360 and PS3, created by developer Nihilistic Software.

When i referred to HL2 i was talking about the PC version, which received massive amounts of hype when it was released a few years ago. Hell the game was even hacked and released months before its intended release and Valve had to redesign alot of the game and still surpassed most peoples expectations. Regardless of what platform a game is released on, my comment applies to any of them.
