oh no is i to late?
I like Final Fantasy 7 the best, i found it great fun and funny at times, they even made a movie out of it which i watched and i loved it. Cloud was a great ff character i mean, wow. i cant say anything else but that cloud is teh wessy 
dam i also forgot, the rebel team reminds me of the A-team lol

It would have to be FFVIII, it was the first game in the series that i bought and played all the way through and was completely blown away at just how good the overall gameplay,story and CG cut scenes were.
The ending to that game was just awesome and the CG that followed made it the most memerable games ive played.

My favourite is FF7 and its' spinoffs of Dirge of Cerberus (being the only ps2 game I played that supports usb keyboard and mouse
