I know why it costs so much and I love mine to death. For like 80% of the population that's just too much money when the 360 is a similar alternative around the $500 mark or in this case the GC was only $400 at release.
Hell I got a GC at the midnight launch expected great things...sigh all I expect from Nintendo now after the disappointment of the Wii is sadness.

edit: Callan couldn't agree more mate! Everyone I show the game to drools...I made a save point on the Video of Bohan insulting his son for calling him Daddy for that reason alone haha.

Wish Sony had more advertising to show people the brilliance of such titles.

er buddy....I'm saying the ps3 is the best actual console (try and argue otherwise....?) however it is currently beind held back from lack of decent games.
And yes I own a nintendo wii......I haven't played it in about 7 months because it's that bad, and the xbox is currently superior only due to game range, but as I said the ps3 will be totally dominant in a year or so.

ok im not wrong the PS3 has higher game sales than the Wii and im not talking about console sales i agree that its the software that makes the company money but i know for a fact that the PS3 has higher sales and more high selling games than the wii

AS a long time PS3 watcher, but not a buyer, I agree with Winnie. The price here is stupid when compared to the price parity in the USA. In the USA they've added more features to the PS3 and reduced the price. Here in order to reduce the price they have to strip a lot of features out. I'd be tempted to buy a US console but Sony have shot themselves in the foot there too by making them region specific for PS2 and Blue ray. Sorry Sony, remove the region lock or develop some price paritiy with the US market, then I'll come back for another sniff, or I'll wait for a chip to become available. It's insulting to be asked to pay an extra $250-300 in Australia for a worse machine?
