heller's right, too many people just listen to what's fed to them because they're told to by the TV. There's a sublime satisfaction in discovering a new band or artist that isn't mainstream. People who are writing their own songs and playing their own instruments and who have something to say.
There's lots of artists I like who are mainstream, but it's not usually for their famous songs.
I love bands like "The Tea Party" who constantly evolve and change their style because they love music and devote themselves to making the best music they can.
