THEN, we have the ultimate hand-brake and a reality check, in the form of the person who was going to be financing his dream - DAD - wreaking havoc with the set-up.

Of course, a 'compromise' was reached (i.e dad just bought what he wanted) and lil Vin got himself a new rig - congrats Vin by the way.

PS - one perk of getting older Vin is that you get to play your own financier and can generally get exactly what you want. But enjoy your "parent funded" times too - they are very good indeed

Yeah I am pretty sure Stonecold, I will need to check though I only picked it up yesterday and I was under the impression that it was DDR3 but didn't get to have a real look

I wasn't fussy though, the whole system only cost me $500 due to friend owning a computer shop so if it is DDR2 I can't complain lol I'll let you know

it was my damn wireless adapter... i KNEW IT all along but couldn't use anything else to test..

now my cousin bought her wireless G thing over and my dad tried it and BAM, no lock-ups~
