Hi everyone, i am just curious... if i import UT3 for ps3, buying it off ebay from someone in AUS, will it work online?
will it be the exact same as the australian version, when that version is released?
or will i only be able to play the single player?

I had no issues adapting to the new controller, this is my first UT on a console and i think i went okay

The reason they say this was because as of like 10 years back they only produced PAL tv's in PAL regions. That has all changed, since 90% of old TVs, 100% of New tvs can output NTSC... if your telly is say no older than 6-7 years u should be fine!

the best thing about UT3 is the fact u can use a keyboard and mouse
No, from what I read, you can choose your servers, hence being able to play worldwide with worldwide

chouder - I've got an imported copy (US) and it plays fine. You can even choose servers and see what ping rates you're getting. U can get lag-free gaming which is a good thing.
I'm actually not playing it at all - practically new. I could sell it to you if you want. PM me if interested.

heh ive already pre-ordered UT3 and i might get a bluetooth keyboard and mouse because ive been playing UT2004 online most days and i dont know how your gonna changed weapons soo fast with the controller...coz there like 15 weapons in the game it would be hard with a controller...wouldnt it? well i use the numbers at the top of the keyboard to change weapons and WASD to move space to jump C to crouch and a classic mouse for the kills.
ive been told lots of stupid stuff from ebgames when i pre-ordered it in December they said like its gonna be out on Christmas...and then 1st of January and then 20th someone told me and now i hear here Feburary...damn well Devil May Cry 4 comes out next week i can look forward to that.

Can't you choose what type of server you play in? As in, mouse and keyboard or controller servers? Read that on a review somewhere.
So I guess it won't matter if its hard to change weapons if its the same for everyone on that server.
I think I'll get the keyboard and mouse too, will come in handy for surfing the net. (If I can figure out how to get out of the bloody homepage, lol)

I recently got the game from www.play-asia.com. Highly recommend. ordered it on thurs morning and got it on friday at 5pm wow? i play online and u can choose if u want 2 join keyboard and controller servers or controller only servers.pings of around 200 though. Warefare mode owns =D

i believe you can choose which server you play in but i dont know about the keyboard and mouse part. oh and freaking nice ENGL is it a Powerball?

You can choose whether you want mouse/keyb only, gamepad only or u any control type servers.
Its got a proper online mutliplayer lobby that's very useful (ping, type of match etc). Unlike COD4 lobby which is a cack in comparison
