Now while you might be thinking yeh but for $700 i could get a decent featured normal laptop but your missing the point. There is 1 moving part on this laptop, a fan. The hard drive is a solid state 4gb HDD (if you get the Asus EeePC 4G). Dont get the 2g or 4g Surf model.

I brought my dad one for xmas and he takes it every where its the size of a small hard book. Go down to myer an play with it .. its not a gaming machine its great for working on the run, accessing the net and all those things. One really cool feature is "apt-get install dosbox". Once you do that you can run any of your old skool fav dos games on it and they play well
