News \ GTA IV UK Release in Late-April?
According to
CVG, senior officials at Take-Two (Rockstar Games' parent company) have told publication MCV that Grand Theft Auto IV will be released in the UK on Friday the 25th of April, 2008. Friday is the typical release date for games and entertainment over there.
This goes hand-in-hand with Rockstar stating that the game will be released sometime between Feb and April 08'. They sure are cutting it close.
If this date deems to be true for the UK, we in Australia should expect it around the same time, perhaps in the first week of May the following week, probably on the 4th of May as it's a Thursday. We may even see it before the UK, on then 27th of April.
Either way, as it stands, no official release date has been confirmed and this is the most solid date we've received yet.

it talks about a few of the games comin out early next yr and their dates (american most likely), and it says that GTA4 will release on March 3 which is a Monday and games over there r usually released on mondays or tuesdays....

I'm a bit ticked R* are giving bonus content to the 360. I wonder how much they were paid for that deal. Given the PS2 made GTA what it is (and accounts for the majority of GTA game sales) it is pretty rude.
