ZOIDBERG said: PlayG3ar but with a External Hard Drive, I read you can not save your PSN games & Demos to it and play them off the external Hard Drive. This correct?
An external hard drive is good for playing music and movies. But not games.
Correct me if I am wrong (I hope I am)
Am I wrong then?

Convert? Windows will not format a drive over 32gb during installation, or with the windows format utility. If you are having problems I suggest you use the command line format utility or trying fdisk. Partition Magic is a good dedicated program to use if you want something commercial.

What has spending money got to do with it?
Replacing the internal drive is more efficient if you want to store things directly on the PS3, and cheaper.

The PS3 can play VOB files without a problem, and some xvids will play but the majority won't.
Exactly how have you exploited your ps3? Please enlighten us.

Why bother? It can read them no matter where they are.
Please stop your constant spamming, and I would appreciate you learning how to spell.

It seems the best way is to upgrade the internal HD rather then an external hd. This way you can save more games and demos along with music and vids

It's more convenient than wasting power on an external drive, not to mention faster access speeds and the ability to store demos and play games off an internal.
Like the others said, you don't need a ps3 folder. I'm still very curious to know how you have "exploited" your ps3 considering you don't even know how to use it properly.
You obviously aren't interested in an actual discussion, rather more in trolling needlessly and hurling insults because you can't form a sentence properly let alone an actual coherent argument.
I'm not going to humour your stupidity anymore by replying to you after this post.
But please limit the spam by keeping your reply's to a single post instead of 2 or 3 short and useless ones, they will be deleted by an admin.

You need a 2.5" notebook hdd, prefferably 5400rpm.
You can get 100gb fujitsu drives for around $100, seagate for around $150.
