wow is great fun. but if you have a girlfiend/partner/a life its probably not the best game to get as you can become quite addicited to it and stop being social.

when i think of wow now i imagine teenagers sitting the there jocks palying wow for 12 hour periods at 4am in the morning.

i had a level 33 shaman, then gave it away as i was becoming an addict.

i ran wow on my laptop. just had a 1.6Mhz centrino proc, 512MB ram and just intergrated graphics (no dedicated card) it wasnt teh best but it still ran. going into origmmar i got a fair bit of lag but thats cos it was the hordes capital city. so you can run it on a comp without high graphic capabilities. it just wont be great.

As Su8tle said, if you have a girlfriend or are a social kinda person don't bother. WoW is a good way to kill time if you have nothing better to do.

edit: Only time the lack of graphics is a real pain is a PvP server. You are too slow to react because of lag.

Private servers aren't allowed, but that doesn't stop a lot of people.
They are a pain though, so buggy and can't hold anywhere near as many players.

too true, espically when you start to work on ure professions. i was an alchemsit and the hours i spent gathering ingredients was just stupid. god what a waste of time.

hahaha my 2nd character was a miner. stupid freakn metal viens.
alchemy was a better profession... it just sucked at low levels but was really good when you get it high. people pay alot of gold for unqiue potions.

ull be right dude, it wont look 'stunning' but itll be fine. u might not be able to see as far as some people running better specs but. also u might struggle if you go into area with lots of otehr people such as teh main cities.

you should be fine with those specs. you will have to have the graphics down on low. but it will still play.

yeh so if you want to try it out just go download the 10day free trial. or if your friends have a boxed copy of the game install that on your computer and just let it download all the updates. Then sign up for a trial account.
