i just downloaded n played it. Meh, wasnt anything exiting. the gameplay just didnt feel right, cant really put my finger on it, and the graphics were pretty average too. deffinatly not a patch on the old conflict games. wont b getting this. Your thoughts...???

dude i agree with the single player.......but didnt you try the online co-op mode?.....its MUCH better that way......you can heal each other if only one of you dies which is a nice little feature. depending how much else they put into online i reckon it might be worth buying

I hardly got to kill anyone! My mate got to them first. I'll get it cos I played all the previous ones. Play on hard makes it more interesting.

me and some random dude did the co-op on normal, hard, then extreme. took us like 4 goes to get it done on extreme, after taking like an hour to get through the rest, just getting the feel of our roles as sniper and machine gunner, choosing different positions to take etc
i thought it was good fun.......only thing was lifting the lmg up to aim through the sight blocks out just about everything else on the screen! so i ended up hip firing alot

is it me or does every new FPS pale in comparison to COD4?
online coop play looks great though, and i hope it becomes standard in every new shooter from now on.

yeah ive been thinking that......cod4 has ruined 99% of other games for me......its the only online game i really need. i mean, i play other games, but i think thats only because they're there and dont want to think ive wasted my money totally! or just to take a break

Conflict games have always been made for the Co-Op, but the reason they have been rated bad in the past is because everyone rated them on the Single Player.

yeah i can understand that totally, its just a little.....awkward.....swapping between the two all the time.
however having cod4 i can see myself buying a game purely for the online mode if its good enough.

I just played the demo, and i have to say that it is terrible.
The graphics look like a avaerage PS2 game, the gameplay is bad, the controls are bad i mean who would use R2 to shoot?
Overall, this game is definately one i would leave alone

I haven't downloaded the demo yet, because I'm nearly over my download quota.
I didn't download the Kane & Lynch demo because a lot of people were saying the actual game was crap already ...

R2 to shoot? uh, heaps of games, off the top of my head; splinter cell and maybe ?R6Vegas?
wutang its 960mb so dont go over your quota for it.....gameplay reminds me of cod3. imo online co-op in a demo is gold. and its the best demo of the latest ones ive been so disappointed in (kane & lynch, the club, blacksite area51). maybe not by much, but alot of that is the fact that cod4 is so good that nothing else really looks GOOD next to it.
Its OK, just ok. but its just a demo 4fxaic
