I think you have to live in a rural area for austar. If you live in sydney or melb or brissy i think you have to go with fox or optus.

correct. they're the same thing as far as i can gather. i like the austar menu/setup better then foxtel tho...the latter is so boring.

pay tv is crap. but if it is only sport your getting, then thats ok lol cuz that all thats worth watching (unless u like getting bombarded with crappy re-runs that get played way too much). and like spacesteve sed - you dont get a choice, if ur in a city/close by its foxtel, regional aus its austar.
