Social \ LCD Technical Assistance
I know there's few technically minded individuals on this forum and I was hoping for a little assistance with an display issue I'm having with my LCD TV.
The problem that I'm having is when ever my TV receives a bright white signal it freaks out and gives a 'No image available' error message until that whit image is off the screen. I've experienced this with PS3 games, BluRay movies and the Wii menu.
I have Teac LCD that has a resolution of 1920x1080i and I'm running my PS3 and Wii through a Pioneer VSX-917v receiver. Everything is running through top quality component cables as well.
I've been going through various options on the PS3, TV and receiver with no improvement.
The only visual option on the receiver that makes sense to me is the 'Digital video converter' but that made no difference on or off.
Before I was running all my systems through a cheap system selector and everything was working fine but since I've ran everything through the receiver the picture quality has increased but I have this white screen issue.
Any suggestions on what to do?

mate i cant think of antything myself, sounds bloody frustrating though.
i would have thought we had quite a few members who were LCD-savvy that might help you out.....

Yeah Entice is gone 
he knew a good deal about this subject.
My screen goes dead when I look directly at the sky in COD4 or when I cop a flash bang to the face as annoying as this is I can live with it, but the most frustrating thing is when I'm watching a movie and it does it, and I can't even use the Wii at all with it's stupid white menu.

The problem is you have a Teac (jk) don't trust that brand
Sorry can't be more helpful. you could try reseting the tv settings

guyver - there are no panels out there can just do 1080i - your tv might be abled to read this signal but display it native on screen.

mate a TEAC is the problem , sorry but its the fact , i bought me self a HP moniter with 1680x1024 resolution and its dam amazing , not an issue , i have my pc and my ps3 running on it at once , i press a button and it switches modes , try returning ur tv as it makes no sense in keeping a tv like that . Good luck mate
