It's a survival horror game (two in the series).
In it you can use something called 'sightjack' to see through enemies eyes, as well as allies too I think (played them, but haven't finished them).
It requires more thinking than the Resident Evil series to get around the enemies (that's why you use the sightjack. To learn the enemies movements and avoid them).
I haven't finished either 1 or 2, so I'm not that much of an expert on it. lol Ask Callan for more info.

lol I won't be downloading it unless it's available on the Aus PSN.
Even then I probably wouldn't have the patience to download.

When the full game is available I should probably get around to playing my PS2 copy. lol
I've started (a while ago) but never really finished....

I agree with Mobe though. The voice acting is sooooo bad. Almost painful...

I would have to say that the two most original horror series I've seen are Forbidden Siren and Project Zero.

I also agree with you and Mobes on the voice acting in the first Forbidden Siren, seeing clearly Japanese characters talking with english accents was very cringe worthy, just completely ruined the feel of the game, lets hope thats addressed this time around

Hmm, there are guides that say how to do that, right? *thinks about it...*

Anyway, as for the voice acting, it's kind of funny.
Most if not all games I've played use American voice actors (although they don't have really strong accents like the English ones in FS), but then when a game uses people with a different accent it's weird.
Am I the only one that's noticed that?

Silent Hill series is fully Japanese, but I believe the original was English language. All the actors on SH2 for the motion capture were American (from the doco that came with the game).

Cheap dubs on the other hand are a different story. Siren 1 fell into that category.
