Silent Hill series is fully Japanese, but I believe the original was English language. All the actors on SH2 for the motion capture were American (from the doco that came with the game).
Cheap dubs on the other hand are a different story. Siren 1 fell into that category.

The rain falls steadily on Hanuda, playing a gentle rhythm on the roof of a village that appears peaceful in the moonlight.
But not all of the villagers are sleeping; this is no ordinary night. The ceremony has begun, the die cast and soon the past will count for nothing.

With no warning, a siren pierces the night air and the entire community vanishes from the face of the earth.

The villagers themselves are still in Hanuda, but it is not their home anymore; it is now a place from a bad dream, a fractured interpretation. The surrounding mountains are gone and in their place a blood-red sea stretches into the distance in all directions, the streets and building are wreaked and strangely distorted.

And one by one, the people are uncontrollably lured towards the noise, into the water. They will return, but no longer as human beings; their souls consumed by evil, they will begin to work together, creating something way beyond the comprehensions of mere mortals.

Bewildered, the few human survivors must now cling to the life that seems to be slipping away before their very eyes. They must confront their deepest fears and struggle desperately to resist the inexplicable call of the siren.

callan5 said: Downloaded the demo last night and played it all night. Absolutely love it!!! Sadly, the sight jack feature wasnt included in this demo, but its still the same tactical horror approach as the previous siren games. Visually i think its excellent, characters look lifelike and enemies look damn frightening with their bleeding eyes and what not. Love it how you can beat them with pipes and blood splatters all over the character

callan5 said: The voice acting is much improved, the two characters in the demo are americans so there voices were american accents, and they were done to say, silent hill level, im guessing the Japanese characters will have Japanese voice overs, as for the shibito staying dead after you killed them, they stay down for quite some time but they still cant be killed.
