Online, PSN and Hosting \ PS3 Wireless Connection To Laptop

ok so i got the WiFi Link usb dongle today n it works as in it does connect to my laptop but still no internet connection because of the proxy server that the uni has...
so does anyone know how to put a ps3 through a proxy server with a username and password to get thru it?...

also probably a question for chuz can you send music or stream music or video thru the conection if so how?

When your setting your ps3 network settings up, It says "Proxy Server" then it says "Use/Do Not Use" Say use and then you will need to type in a port and an IP adress, Then your set to go.

yeh done that only problem is our uni proxy needs a user name and password so our internet usage is charged to our account... thanks for trying... maybe ps3 developers should have gone one step further and asked for a username and password if needed...
