Basically, North is South, South is North
Birds and mammals such as whales that migrate and or use the magnetic field as means of navigation will be left slightly confused but they will work it out eventually. If this were to happen their expecting ALOT of whales to beach themselves. Not quite sure what the negative effects of migrating birds would be.
And we may also see irregular shifts in tides.

There's some info on the matter and i correct myself, it's every 200,000 years not, 75,000. Can;t seem to find the info on the prediction of it happening at 2012; i think i heard of that on a documentary not through text on the net.
Personally, i believe this is a more credible theory of the conspiracy shrouding 2012; we'll just have to wait and see.

Well basically for that to happen the Earth core has to stop spinning turning Earth into a 'dead planet' And in terms of death? We wouldn't even know what happened.
