By the way, eBays seller usually say, "Aussie retail copy" to make it more appealing...when in most cases it's from another PAL region.

Spot on, it is very unlikely that this is the AU version. judging by the price cause not even Australian retailers could sell the AU version for that price unless they we making no or losing profit.

It is an Import.

As you know PS3 games are region free this gives sellers the opportunity to just say yes its the Australian version.

But think about it how does the AUS version differs from the lets say US version. Its the Rating Symbol (AUS has OFLC symbols and US has ESRB symbols) Also on the back it says 4 where the US says 1.

Mate id get it for that price, the gold steel case is cool and it will work the same even if it isnt the AUS version.
