I give it a 9, because i am now using cheats to get througth the missions and i gets too easy, but i would still give it a ten if i played it without cheats. I Played MGS 4 for a bit, but i traded it in cause i was wierd.

i found as what has already been mentioned a couple of times is that the missions are very repetitive but also lacking in some ways seemed way too short for me.
but the random things around the city keep me amused

My score has actually gone up from 8.5 to 9.5. The reason is because I take it slow. Im not even half way through, I just play the game around an hour a week and I mess around sometimes. Thats the way to play the game in a busy lifestyle

Thats the thing, gta 4 isn't "gta". So many gameplay elements have been cannibalized and the "gta" formular has been almost completely disregarded. Why the hell does no one remember the cash for kill streak power ups??

A lot of people rated it highly early on because they were expecting the game to improve and surprize them. Its now clear a lot of people don't rate the game like they did before the got to know it better.

Agree with that.. after playing the other GTA's for a while you get to know the map... i reckon san andreas crapped all over GTA4

we thought we knew what we were getting... good music on the radio stations, lots of tounge in cheek humour.. fun missions......

All of that was lacking in GTA4
