Just for future reference, all firmware talk now goes in Playstation 3 Software and Firmware, all medals in Website and I guess the rest speaks for itself. Just a bit of a clean up because everything was all over the place with 15 bajillion different forums for the same things.

Hope it makes things a bit easier for everyone!
