Yea, I loved the Guide Book. MGS4 was my first MGS game at the time.
The guide book didn't ruin anything for me, just made me enjoy the game more (maybe I'm weird?)

But yea, I got my MGS4 from JB (traded 2 games in) ... but I got the Guide Book at a discount from EB anyway. I told the girl that I bought MGS4 from a different EB store

But if you feel you need it, then by all means buy it. Since everyones opinions are different, your less likely to get a straight answer.

Well, for me it's a complete waste(insanely pricy).

But at the end of the day, somethings only worth whatever your willing to pay for it.
