I once saved the life of a guy who couldn't upright his waveski. The thing had a belt and he was obese and couldn't get the buckle open because folds of his flesh had covered it. He would have drowned if I wasn't on the shore and saw what was going on.

I told my mother to go back and pickup the drinks from the kitchen just before a lightning bolt would have hit 5 meters infront of us where she would have been if i didnt call her back. All the hairs on our arms went up it was freaky.

btw i have drowned 3 times as a kid and stopped breathing no heart beat 3-6 minutes each time.. mental note to self i cant swim very well..

That is a lie... how can you see a lightning bolt where it hits... it always hits the highest point.... which it usually stops in the earths atmosphere... And how can you call her to pickup drinks in the kitchen if she was outside? and 5m outside... hmmm really doesn't makes sense.

I've saved a tourists life, he and his mate were swimming at the beach, got caught in a rip, and were unable to swimm back into shore. I thought they were just mucking about but they kept bobbing up and down in the water before i realised they were in trouble. They couldn't speak english too well, so I was trying to explain to em before i got too close that they don't grab onto me or they'll drown me too. So I called another surfer to grab the other guy, and eventually swam back to shore with a very grateful and tired tourist.

In Perth we have lanes behind houses,(especially in subiaco) we exited the back door walking down the path to a big gate/driveway there is lawn on the right and veranda on the left and the path is in the middle, as i was locking the door i reminded mum about the drinks in the fridge she walked back towards me and then lightning hit the hills clothes line right next to the path where she would have been directly under at that time .Is this a better explaination.

Geez raybert i'll explain myself better in future

For the last time.... you cant see where a lightning bolt hits (exact place)... It is to fast for the humans eye and tbh you really wouldn't have saved your mums life.

The closet thing way i have come to saving someones life was when, my friend and I were crossing this busy road. And near to the end he had to sneeze, so he didnt realize that he stopped walking. Unaware, this car came speeding whilst he was sneezing. Luckily i grabbed him and pulled him out from the speeding car.

So yeah thats my, near live saving experience

so the lightning hit "somewhere" in their backyard, because its too fast. big deal? it mighta been a nearby powerbox, it mighta been lightning, at least theyre contributing.

not very nice to accuse people of lying.

not really... didnt break a bone but rolled up bonnet and smashed windscreen but ended up with hardly any injuries... the little boy would have at least been dead though
