Smashing Pumpkins

No deathmetal or any emo **** like that. Music similar to the bands above. (modern rock sorta music).

Hard to say because I dont know you, but if your bored of your music you dont always need to find something new, rather you could discover something old. Too many classic rock albums to name for you to listen to but thats what id do if I was bored.

Ok, so, i've been to hella lot of concerts over the years, Chili Peppers 5 times, Placebo 6 times, so hopefully i know what sorta stuff you want. Listed artists with albums.
Bush - Sixteen Stone is great - very muchly in the same vein
The Tea Party - ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC - prob Edges of Twiligt or Transmission (if that's right name, if not, whatever album that song is on)
And, The first album from Visual Audio Sensory Theatre - VAST - absolutely awesome.
Tool and A Perfect Circle if you're into alternate rock is a must have.
Something for Kate - Echolalia prob the best
Superjesus - Sumo - great aussie rock band out ages ago (but not jet age, that is new and crappy)
Little birdy - Either album
Weezer is fun
Muse
Pj Harvey - female singer, but very rock - try This is Desire.
Skunk anansie - Post Orgasmic Chill is a fantastic album

Can't go wrong with any of this stuff.

The Eels - whatever album it is with beautiful freak on it.

In which case: Foxboro Hot Tubs, Start Trouble, Autopilot Off, Kutless, Sugarcult - all excellent bands that are *relatively* unheard of.
