So, I got Burnout Paradise when I got GTA 4 and played it once, found it awkward and hadnt picked it up since I've been playing GTA 4 too much.

I tried to play Burnout Paradise today. I found it far too difficult. I loved all the previous Burnouts, but now I crash if I hit a car? It's always been a fun game.

Additionally, now with the fad of "open worlds" for everything, I am completely lost. The complete lack of structure means that from the get go I am meant to keep a track of all the jumps etc? It's just too much for me.

Anyone else found it difficult to play?

Oh, and camera angle, I can't see where I'm going, it feels like the car is just going too fast.

Maybe it's just me. Sigh.

I love burnout paradise, but its a massive game. There is just so much content that you could keep playing it for months. Plus all the free updates they keep adding in.

but you should try playing it online, that’s where paradise really shines.

Nah, GTA is very scripted, you can venture outside if you want to, you're not just dumped in some massive world. Maybe if the whole camera thing could be sorted then it'd be easier to have a go, but being annoyed the whole time you're trying to work something out isnt a good start.

Try using the in car view then, but i honestly dont have any problems with the current camera system. Oh and in time you will learn the Map like you do in other sandbox games.

Same here, i have no problem with the camera system at all, showtime is a lot of fun, wish i could save some of that to my HD to play back

When you say event do you mean a race? Stunt Run? Marked Man? or Road rage?

Cause smashed are the yellow gate things you need to drive through and their are 400 to find.

Its a fast stunt car but slippery as all hell on take off and landings.

you get the carbon GT Concept when you get all smashes.
