Nah, twas because it was an inappropriate title, as the threads main purpose was to lure unsuspecting forumers to the chance to get on the SOCOM beta/demo....Thus making the SOCOM beta/demo threads title more appropriate.

Apart from that, the menus are lagged by like half a second to a full second. It's really annoying when doing the character customisations, which is really cool by the way.

I'm going to try again later tonight but for now, it's balls.

hmm lets try to analyse the problem because it will help determine whether people buy the game on release or not.

with the lag issues, that might be ini the full version too - i think that depends on their servers.

as for the bugs, i am pretty sure they can be ironed out for the full release and even then, later in patches.

what about the actual gameplay?
(i have yet to play even though i downloaded it)

how long will this beta go on for? street release date is october 16th

It took me at least 45 minutes to get into a game then a further 5 to load the god damn map.

So I finally got into it and great, a night map. I found it so hard to see that I was blasted away from the shadows so many times so I decided to check the controls and see if there's a night vision. Yes, there is! But why when I go to night vision it has to come up so close that I can't see **** except my big fat ****ing turban. WHY?!

Then the next problem, the overall control scheme. Wow is it bad. This is a first for SOCOM games for me so forgive me if I'm insulting a classic control scheme but wow. Thank god you can change it but why can I not change everything? It seems I am unable to change the biggest problems.
I mean, I have to lift my right hand from the right side to aim down my scope which is on my left side. Now I can either sacrifice 1 thing, my movement or my aim. Why couldn't the aim be something like L1? The **** is L1 anyway? I have so much to complain about the controls that it's not ****ing funny.

Once I got over the crappy controls and waiting 5 minutes to play the game I got a kill. Yay!! This was very satisfying but my joy was quickly ended from a bullet in the rear. Now to wait another 5 minutes for the next round...

SOCOM = Pathetic waste of time or more importantly, a waste of bandwidth.
Want to bitch to me about it being a beta? I ****ing know this but the GAME PLAY is the worst.
