From what I can remember when they discussed it on the full moon show.
->better chimera skins so that you can tell witch team is witch on chimera vs. chimera matches.
->you can now hear people’s microphones though your TV speakers so no need to have a headset to hear what people are saying.
-> In game moderators that you can report any cheating to and they can take action against people abusing the system.
-> Loads of other behind the scene fixes and updates.
->probably more stuff that I cant remember.

oh and ps the new maps arnt free just incase you any one thought they were

hay guys(and girl) the resistance patch is up and so are the servers so go on and get downloading.

also the new map pack is availible from ingame. it wasnt on the store when i got there a few mins ago but it might be now.

the map pack is 7.45 and about 312MB

yes i have but the multiplayer coders over at insomniac seem to be realy good in that regard so im hoping it will hold out in the worldwide matches.

Not at all.
There are 2 new maps and both have the 40/32/16/8 player variants
Camborne
This map is really cool iv only played the large 40p version so I’ll give my take on it.
There are to main levels to the map above ground and under ground and there are big holes with wind pads to get you up to the top and holes with out wind pads to drop down.
The above ground is mostly open with some ruins around for cover plenty of ammo and weapon pads all around also it’s raining and looks cool.
Under ground is more confined and looks like the escape from northern command part of the game its a more close quarters fight with a few open rooms too. its a bit of a maze down there so you can get lost.

Now iv only played the 8p version of this map so i'll comment on that.

So this map is set in the snow and it is snowing and it looks cool. its got lots of chimera structures around and one big on in the middle witch you can take a wind pad up to the roof of and battle it out up there. It also has little towers set in to the cliffs around the main one these can be gotten to via the ground wind pads at each tower or ramps leading off the main middle tower. These side towers give great sniping points but there out in the open so watch for counter sniping

That’s my little over view of the 2 new maps.
Id suggest buying them as soon as you can there really good.
also there are only 2 new maps but they are more like 8 maps cause each player limit version is very different from the others. and when you play the objective modes like capture the flag and meltdown and such they change around again so there is a lot of verity put in these maps.
