PS3 Mad Catz Thumdpad Accessory Review - 6/10
PS3 Mad Catz Thumbpad is a thumbpad for your ps3, which you can clamp to your controller.
Appearance:
Ok this thing is smaller than what I thought it would be ... it is the size of the palm of my hand! You can clamp this thing to your controller, but that makes the controller look ugly and adds some weight. I'll let you guys decide whether or not if it looks cool or not. In my opinion it is one small, ugly thing.
Typing and Keys:
It is quite difficult to type with one of these, since it is so small, but it is faster than the controller. It is very basic .. it has basically only the letter keys and a key for symbols. No extra buttons like which are on a keyboard. Does not even have arrow keys or a spacebar!
Cost:
Got mine for just under $35aud on ebay, which is overpriced for this piece of junk.
Extra:
Takes up a usb slot in your ps3 when it should be bluetooth!!!!
Fully compatible with ps3 xmb etc..
Overall:
Appearance: 7/10
Ugly and small, but I know some people like smaller things and some of you may think it looks good.
Typing and Keys: 6/10
Fairly difficult to type with and is missing a lot of keys which it should have.
Cost: 6/10
Quite overpriced.
Extra: 5/10
Wtf I have to waste one of my usb slots for this piece of crap?
OMG! Seriously buy a keyboard instead. Trust me, you'll be thanking me later.
