Need For Speed Carbon, Our illgeal street racing friend - 8/10
Need For Speed have become an award winning Game Franchise, for the style and design of this game. Need for speed shows the other side of racing.
Not the style of racing on TV, but illegal racing with suped up cars. Need for speed lets you customise your car from the beginning.
The First few Need For Speed games opened our eyes with this sort of racing, as we haven’t seen before. This game became a favourite on many consoles.
Then After that we saw what the other style of racing that need for speed could show out. In need for speed hot pursuit II, you would race around in
A car of your choice, and most of the time you would race away from the cops, either by using your engine speed, or using the nitrous.
The fun wasn’t over there. Ea Games were not finished at all. In fact, they had just started.
The need for speed series went silence for a while, in which everyone thought that the need for speed series had died out. This was some concern to EA
Games as they had not said anything yet.
A while later, the news was out, Need For Speed was back again, but not the same this time. It had completely changed since the last time that we saw
it. EA GAMES had announced the new Need For Speed Game: Need For Speed Underground. This title was exiting, without even seeing the trailer. many became
exited over this and then, the trailer was out. The Pictures were out. It was for real.
The trailer really surprised many because this was never done before. And the game had completely gone "underground". need for speed underground was one
of the most highly anticipated games. The pictures stunned many, the graphics stunned many and the trailer affected everyone. Need For Speed Is Back.
Ea Games were right. The Fun Has Just Begun.
As the months went on, there was a rumour being spread about "another Underground”, making people pumped up for this game, as Need For Speed Underground
Went To Platinum. Need For Speed has become a legend of games. it wasn’t just a race anymore, it was you and your car. The game's soundtrack also changed,
with music from Lil Jon and the Eastside Boyz "Get Low" and T.I "24's" . this game was one of the best. Untill....
It was official, Need For Speed Underground 2 Was launched officially by EA GAMES. Again, we were in for another surprise. There was so much Advertising
for this game, including Flyers, Stores Decorated with Need For Speed Underground 2 posters, and even advertising.
This game had so many more new features than Need For Speed Underground 1. In This Version, free roaming was available.Aswell as some other modes,
this game became even better than the first Need For Speed Underground. In this game there was more detail of customisation, and graphics. The Soundtrack
also changed, from Underground Hip-Hop, to some Techno Tracks like Felix Da House Cat "Rocket Ride" (im not sure if the song name is correct

) and
some mixed Hip-Hop like Snoop Dogg And the Doors "riding on the Snow" (if I am correct, I forgot

) . So Need For Speed had major changes. And there was
modes like drag, Drift, Sprint, Circuit and a few others.
After Need For Speed Underground 2, Ea games went quiet again..... This kept us in the shadows, so we had to wait and see if there was going to be another one
. We all wanted another Need For Speed Underground, and that’s what we did get, but unfortunately it wasn’t good, and it was only on the psp. It was
called "Need For Speed Underground Rivals" , and as the Title says, Underground Rivals was not a big thumbs up for many. In This Need For Speed Game,
there were a few good modes and some new ones. Some being: street cross, Drift,Circut,Sprint,Nitrous Run, And some others. The customisation in this game
was not good either. So it Wasn’t worth it for EA to put it on the PS2.
But, luckily, we weren’t doomed. EA GAMES had said that there was going to be another Need For Speed Game. We all hoped that it wasn’t going to be as bad as
the PSP version of Need For Speed Underground. And it wasn’t. Again, It was completely different. We all were surprised at this move EA games had made.
They ditched the Underground Aspects, and changed it. The game was called: Need For Speed Most Wanted.

This version of Need For Speed was set in the day time, which meant some race modes would be lost, as most of the races featured in the Previous Need For
Speed Underground Versions were set at midnight. The game did not die. It was actually quite good. You could see everything without going blind and again,
it was free roaming. This version Of Need For Speed brought back some old-skool features. Now there were cops. Cops+fast cars= Car Chases and fun.
Now, it didn’t just stop there. there were some new race modes like: Pursuits (running from the cops) speed traps and some others. Now some of the map was
destructible. Fun!!! now in a race, if you saw a destructible object, you could drive through it, smash it and anyone that was behind you would get toatled.
The soundtrack also had a new blend. Now Rock/metal music was introduced, the song by Celdweller Featuring Styles Of Beyond "Shapeshifter".
Then, along came another version of Need For Speed Most Wanted. This was, again not as good as the original. This version was called Need For Speed Most
Wanted 5-1-0. There was no free roaming on this version and you couldn’t sell your car. The graphics weren’t great as well. You could guess what console
this was on, unfortunately. The PSP. they should have kept the original version and put it on the PSP. That would have been better. On this version
you have to battle your way up the blacklist, then your finished

how sad.
After that, EA Games, again announced a new Need For Speed Game. Again, EA GAMES had completely changed it. How many times would they keep doing this?
In a way this was good because you would never get bored of the game.
Last Year, Need For Speed Carbon Was Announced. In This version Of Need For Speed, you would have to build your own crew, and take down other crews
to gain territories. This game is better than what I am going to say now. Need For Speed Carbon Own The City. Again this version of Need For Speed
is on The PSP

. The game was a bit longer than the original carbon, and this one had free roaming. but, this game had too many glitches.
And Now, Need For Speed Carbon was announced for the PS3, which was nothing special really. If you had the PS2 Version and it was compatible
then you wouldn’t have bought this one. It is the exact same game, but with Better Graphics. Ea games decided not to add anything else to the game.
Need For Speed Carbon has its ups and downs on every console, including the playstation 3. The biggest problem that gamers found out was that
Need For Speed Carbon is far too short to be a full "Need For Speed" game. This is very Disappointing EA
On the Playstation 3 Version, the first thing that you will notice is the graphics. It looks much better. And for all other versions of Need For
Speed Carbon is new cars, like the Alfa Romeo and Lamborghini cars back again. Now In Need For Speed Carbon there is different Classes for cars.
Tuner being the American muscle cars, Tuner being the Japanese racing cars and exotic being the fast cars like the Lamborghini’s.
Here Is My Rating For Need For Speed Carbon.
Graphics- 9/10:
This Version Of Need For Speed Carbon Definitely looks the best on the Playstation 3.
Sound- 9/10:
Great Car Sound Effects, and music
Gameplay- 7/10:
This game falls behind in gameplay, it’s too short, if you bought it from a store like Game or Eb, and you could return it under their 7 day policy.
This game can be completed in a matter of hours
multiplayer- 8/10:
Good game to play online.
Value- 7/10:
if you are a hardcore gamer that could complete a game like Grand Theft Auto San Andreas in a day, then this game wouldn’t appeal to you on the
Gameplay side.
Overall- 8/10:
Sad to say that this game did not meet its standards for a "Need For Speed Game".
my opinion:
If you like Need For Speed Games, and you don’t care about the graphics, then go down to your local store and check out if its compatible with the PS3,
Because this game is now on platinum and would save you money.
I hope you like my review and thank you for reading
