From the mind of the David Jaffe, comes a multiplayer game that can only be described as trash-talkingly fun.

GAMEPLAY: the premise of calling call cars is a simple one, drive your car to the criminal catch him and take him back to gaol, with points awarded depending on where in the gaol you take him. This task is made harder with 4 players trying to do the same thing at the same time causing multiplayer chaos across the map as people scramble to get the criminal back to gaol whilst avoiding the other players attempting to steal the crim off them.

To aid in the mayhem you can pick up 3 (comical) weapons, a giant mallet, a rocket and a magnet which sucks the crim out of their car into yours. All of these are balanced so that they don’t over power the player with the crim but do help the others trying to get him back. Also there is a boost option that allows people to either make a quick escape with a crim or to slam into another to make the crim fall out and take it from them selves

The single player is very short and not the main focus of the game as there is a robust if underpopulated online mode with voice chat and bots. And split-screen play both off and on line so you can have battles against friends or take on other people with your buddies.

VISUALS: The visuals in Calling all cars is very stylised. Giving off a very cartoony look which is great for the ridiculous nature of the game and makes it look distinctive which is great for multiplayer. As you know what every thing is at a glance.


it has a great art style

CONCLUSION: Calling all cars is a great muiltiplayer romp so don’t buy it if your not going to play it with other people as its not fun. But a game of calling all cars with friends is great fun and is very pick up and play friendly so if you’re looking for a fun and quick game to play when friends come over look no further than calling all cars.
