Online, PSN and Hosting \ PS3 Help Needed...

I have a D-Link DSL-G604T/AU wireless router and the PS3 finds it ok, with a connection of around 97%, but I type in the WEP kep which I'm sure is right (I've tried it like 10 times) and it says the same thing (A connection to the acess point couldnt be acquired. Check the settings of the wireless LAN.(error 8013013E))

perhaps you have MAC filtering enabled?
If so just type in the MAC address of the ps3 into the router config.
I had the same error at first. And I think it was that.

Well why dont you just disable the WEP encryption and try it just to see if thats the cause, then enable it again once you've tried it.

In these situations its always the best to go through a process of elimination. ie..you start disabling or turning things off 1 by 1 until the problem is solved, then you know what the probem will be.

- WPA2 key with TKIP encryption (the easiest and safest)
- Firewall enabled

try WPA because it is more secure than WEP.
